Does anyone know how much bigger riser you can put on without extending cables? I could use a few more inches when I stand up.

I did the same, factory Riser is 5.5" so the 7.5" feels great and cables and wires are fine. I used the cat Riser and it is black and it looks so much better than the raw aluminum look.

Thank for the replies.
Do you guys think you could go another inch or is 7.5 pretty tight?

I thought the 7.5 was a nice fit with the cables. Another inch might be ok, but I can't say for sure.

The wires may be fine but the cable might be an issue. Not positive though. The additional 2" makes a huge difference.

Ok, thanks. Do you mind if I ask how tall you are. I'm about 6'1" and was thinking 3 inches would be about perfect. I was just out in the garage with a tape measure, lol.

I am installing a 7" riser on my wife's sled now and based on what I've seen the 8" I have for mine will work without issue. I should know Thursday for sure. Tomorrow is trail and sign prep for our north end snowmobile trails. Last week was 8 hours so if tomorrow is like last week I won't get to the sled till Thursday.6' even, maybe you need the extra inch. Lol
Nice. Our sign prep is next week. Thanks for donating your time Testmaster.

I have an adjustable riser which ranges 6" to 8.5". Even all the way up to the "ape hanger" position, there's no issue with the cable or brake hose!

pjabas,
It is the one from Rox http://roxspeedfx.com/product/rox-6-8in-se-elite-height-adjustable-risers.htm
I marked off couple of different locations on it with a Sharpe and most of the time ride with it in the 7" position. When I have it all the way up, I'm usually off-trail boondocking through the trees. If the trail ride back to the truck is smooth and I'm not standing much, then sometimes I will adjust them all the way down.
Also my mistake in my previous post, I was thinking that they adjusted to 8,5" when in fact it's 8.25".
