Riser????

Yea, it just allows basically 2 pivot points to get you more rider forward. Good looking risers too.

Rox riser-adjustable,good looks,no new cables!

gukrokit-- how big is that riser and what bars are those ?? looks sweet !!!

It's the rox 3 inch with aluminum bars from a yz125 dirt bike.Overall height same as stock 03 rx-1m,just wider and straighter.Allows use of stock cables plus great added control and leverage. Can be pivoted forward a few inches.Excellent compliment to the wide a-arm kit!Riser$80 bars65$Tricky part was hiding all the wires in that little pad!

Does the 2" Powermadd riser come with new bolts or are the stock ones useable?

How did you guys get away with a 2" riser ? I put a 1" riser on my 05 Warrior and when making a tight right turn (like turning in a parking lot slowly) the throttle would goose itself and then the TORS would kick in. The throttle goose would catch me off guard and launch me, the last time toward a telephone pole. I check the cable routing and throttle cable seemed to be in the best possible location.

NY_Warrior - the throttle will have to be moved in a bit (1/2" or so) for this not to happen using the stock cables (mine at least had too).

I just put 4" foam under the seat, and now I think my 2" risors are too low. I'm pretty much sitting in the same stock position now (with the 2" risors and foam).
Defintely the best $15 I've spent on the sled thus far.

I've read that you either move the throttle block about a half an inch or you remove the bracket for the cables and let them go where they may. We will see.

I just put a Power Madd pivot adaptor and 4" block on my '05 Warrior (for a total of 5 1/2" rise)...repaced the stock throttle cable with one from an '05 Mountain sled, and now have plenty of slack. Cable only costs around $20 and takes 10 minutes to swap.

Invest the time/money, and avoid becoming another statistic!

NY warrior- I should have specified that my riser worked with stock cables because Ive got the mountain with long stock cables...

Gukrokit-- Did you cut and splice any of the wires inside the foam pad. Or are they all stock ?? What year yz 125 are the bars from ??

I put a powermaid 2" riser block with no pivot and had to buy a mountain cable for it. If i could of moved the handle bar forward i would not had to buy the mountain cable. So i think it depends on what riser set up you buy. I bought a 3" riser for 04 rx1 but it was not a block and the stock cable worked if the handlebars did not move toward you or away from the windsheild, then it was to short. i have now put on a powermaid 1 1/2" pivot with a 4" riser and all i had to do was buy the mountian cable. I moved the parking brake and brake hose and it is working great.
