If you have an air compressor one of these will soon become your best friend if you need to install a lot of rivets:

Harbor Freight pneumatic rivet gun. Just make sure to get the one that will do up to 1/4" rivets.(sooner or later you will need one that big) It is a life/time saver 100%. Just went through changing my oil and had a few loose rivets on the belly pan and side panel. Nothing beats it.
Thanks guys. I went last night and picked up the 1/4" I'll give it a go this weekend.

After your first time using it I'm willing to bet that you'll be looking for any excuse to use your new rivet gun on anything.

I have a heavy duty manual one that looks like a pair of bolt cutters, no problems doing even the toughest 1/4 rivets. I bought it for installing underskinning on my pontoon boat, made quick work of 100+ rivets and has a neat little container to collect the studs. It was around 35$ at Menards.
