Stainless Steel pop rivet gun??

Anyone have any problems using a regular manual rivet gun for ss rivets?? I heard you must use a pnuematic gun for ss. Anyone with experience in this let me know. I have a Morson HP-2 riveter and am ready to put the close off plate on my phazer..

I bought the exact one from princess auto....Worked on the biggest steel rivets...Did two tunnel extensions with it..Great tool for 35.00 bucks

you can do it with a hand riviter but when we did my brothers tunnel extension on his viper, my hands hurt for the next 3 days. we use an air one now.

Air or hydrilic makes life way easier on SS or steel.

You can use a regular hand pop rivet gun...but it's hard on the inner jaws as well as on you hand if you are doing more than 4

I pound S.S. rivets through mine all the time without any problems, plus it's much faster
