I installed my Smart Supply from Yamaheater today. Installation and powering was dirt simple with the supplied Velcro sticky tape and the wiring connection is plug and play as it tees right in to the lighter socket spade connections. To connect I simply popped out the dash gauge and went through the large opening as well as reaching under.
I struggled with where to mount it. I have the Yamaha "goggle" bag in the dash and I did not want the supply on the dash top so I went to the frame spur behind the steering post.

I have yet to install mine. I was wondering about the same thing as where to mount it. Glad the install was easy. Thanks for posting your pics.
I really wanted to mount it to the riser with the ports facing down, but the stem of my GPS mount would block the USB plugs and the wiring was too short. I may regroup and readdress this location later depending how I like it as is.

I just left mine in the goggle bag after I couldn't find a decent spot, but I'll revisit that spot of yours.
I've got the handlebar bag, so not too sure if it'll work.

Just ordered one. Sounds simple enough and looks like it a great system for multiple sources.
Site is not updated for ordering so you may have to just call him.

I really like mine. About the only thing I'd do different is add a quick plug in the harness so I can remove hood without messing with the lighter wiring, but as seldom as I need to remove the hood it's easy enough to slide off the spades.
Simple 12" mini USB up to my GPS and the heated shield cable I route forward under the bars then back up over the top pad to take up some of the slack and keep out of the way.

I put mine in the goggle bag. Wires fit right through the little grommets in front of bag. Now my phone stays warm and charged and I run my GPS off it also. Bag comes off with the hood so no hassels there. Love it.

Just installed mine....wow how easy does it get!
Very nice little unit, wish I had installed it earlier. I mounted it in the Goggle bag too.
