I've heard of very few failures. Any idea what caused it? Did it run out of oil?
Good Luck with the repairs!!

the ones I have heard of the rod nut backed off causing the failure.
There was no noise before the failurebut when I disassbled it appeared that the nut had back off of the rod.According to YAMAHA the bearing failed first causing the nut to back off.Which is bull.If I can get others with same issue maybe we can wake up the mothership{YAmahaAA]TO OUR PLIGHT. :exc:
