Not sure if you all ever read any of the posts on the other side of TY, but I made a post over there reporting my experience at a Yamaha demo ride event where I rode a Vector, RX-1 and Polaris Fusion.
So that I dont have to type this long, long, long story again, I have supplied a link to another board where I posted it.
It also has some interesting replys from Polaris loyalists that I thought you might all enjoy.

LOL...you got that right. Ive been on that board for almost a year now, and I dont recall him EVER saying anything negative about anything Polaris has done.
You like his signature about how his heros are the founding fathers of Polaris and about how Polaris came first and everything else followed? LOL...Ive tried to tell him that Polaris wasnt the first snowmobile company (Bombardier started making sleds 3 years before Polaris did).
Ah well, I thought you 4-stroke guys might enjoy reading that.

[quote="beamerThanks for the feedback on the fusion. My plan was to buy one this year instead I got a Vector replacing a 600xc. I could not be happier.[/quote]
Im not going to say the Fusion was a complete waste of my time. It started and ran great, due to the fuel-injection system and it cornered pretty well, but not as well as the Vector. The seat was nice and comfy and the "rider select" tilt steering is pretty sweet. However, it is NOT the sled that it was hyped up to be and if I had spent over $9000 to snowcheck one, I would be very unhappy.
I currently ride an '01 600 XC EDGE X and my plan is to trade it in on a used Vector sometime within the next few years. Im hoping to be able to find a used '05 Vector in a few years for about $5000. With a litte luck my XC should be worth $2000 by then and I will be able to trade up for around $3000. I tell you, after only 5 minutes on the Vector I was like, "so, I can just take this home with me right?"
I have never ridden a sled and had so much fun as I did on that Vector. Even a week later Im still pumped from my experience on that sled!
