rode phazer gt today

went upto hauck power sports today and went back in the shop talkin to the guys and one of the main mechanics grabbed a helmet and a pair of gloves and todl me to take the phazer for a test drive down the track and back. now i rode the phazer in march at the muni ride and wasnt very impressed with it, but i rode it today and all i can say is WOW. this machine hauls @$$ from 0-60 like nobodies business and i topped out at 85, but i was riding on mostly grass/mud so i think 90 would be very easy to hit, but not too much beyond that. for anyone who ordered one...u r not going to be disappointed at all especially what u paid for it. all i'd need to do is strap a nitrous bottle on this little rocket and this thing woudl absoluetly fly

Sweet! I rode one in Muni and I thought it was a total dog. Must have been all the demo riders beating on it...

The sleds are wuite a bit different from what you rode...its unreal the change in the repsonse on the motor and clutching.

I would be very interested in how you would compare the feel of the Phazer to a 2 stroke or even a Rage. I have often heard it compares to 600 and 700's in the low to mid range. Would you agree? It is good to know that you find a great improvement from spring.

i rode a 2000 sxr 600, and i would say the phazer would take it all the way upto 80mph..now to be honest, i think the phazer will not compete with a 600 cc 2 stroke in any way shape or form unless major modifications r done to it. i also think that it would pull a rage upto 50 or so then i think the rage would eventually catch and pass it.

the phazer i rode had some minor clutching, exhaust, and a fuel accelterator but dealer has only been workin on phazer for 2 weeks. he said his phazer dynoed at 76, and 77 during the same day, but dynoed around 81hp consistantly with modifications.

I will be talking to Pat on monday. I will ask him if he would like to advertise on the site. I will give him your phone # if you want me to but you would have to pm the #. I buy all my stuff from Pat for he is a close friend of mine. We grew up 1 mile apart as kids. I am not saying his stuff is the best but i do support my local dealer. Pat also did sponsor Terry for him going to be on pinks. Pat donated a fuel accelarator for his attack. Terry did try it out and was pleased with the results. Tony and I will be going with Terry to Texas to help him out.

Hope you guys are right. In My search for ultimate wisdom this summer I talked to a couple Magazine guys and different sources I met the acqauintance and all said the same thing. "Production spec would be better than what we rode in Muni."
