Anyone out there using a roller secondary on your viper? Kicking around updating my LTX SE with one.

Unfortunaly no one makes one for the viper so I made my own shaft and put on a team secondary and hope to test it shortly. I have been using team tss-04 secondary's on all my sleds for the last 8 years with great results and hope to continue the trend.Anyone out there using a roller secondary on your viper? Kicking around updating my LTX SE with one.

Supreme Tool just came out with the Tuner secondary to fit the SR Viper. I would bet you can get it through Ulmer.

That secondary reminds me alot of the the old Bearcat secondary we used to run on our ZX Doo's (early 2000's) before they had a roller secondary. I was amazed when I got my Viper, that they were still using a slide button secondary! Kinda behind the times really. I emailed Team Industries to see if they had a Tied secondary to fit the Viper.....No dice, nothing available at this time.

The button secondary has been proven to be more consistent than the roller.......

Proven where? Equally tuned roller is better, quick acceleration and better back shifting.

If team roller put a secondary out I would be excited to get one, the roller secondary is a great option to have for a Yamaha. But nothing in my mind is as strong or proven as there button secondary.

When dragging pro stock f7's the button secondary's always ran more consistent times. Mike Knapp also is a believer in the button secondary. Each to his own.Proven where? Equally tuned roller is better, quick acceleration and better back shifting.

Are we talking about drag racing or a trail machine where back shifting in all kinds of conditions is more important, and for that matter I use the same clutch on my 500 hp apex with great consistency but like you said to each there own.
I put a roller secondary on Phazer but did not like the Engine braking faster back shift caused. Went back to buttons. I hate engine Braking. Some like it. Personal choice.
