A lot of guys run the X-wheels from Excell, with good success.

Ok. I'll check them out. What about sizes and custimaztion options? I've heard of some guys putting larger wheels for the rear of the track?
I'm pretty new to the mod game and frankly get lost in all the sizes and bearing choices. I ride 40 percent trail and 60 percent off. I'm running a 163 if I remember correctly with 2.5 inch camoplast track. Also just put on new tuner skis from yamaha

Kimpex makes a wheel that is virtually identical to the Yamaha idlers - its just a larger diameter. I run 4 of them and have had good luck (I change the bearings each year because the ones they come with are only good for a season).

And are they all the same size? And that's 4 for the whole track?

Yes, the four front idlers are all the same size. They have virtually cut all slider wear at the front of the skid. I am thinking of adding two more in front of the rear rollers at the back of the skid.

What would that do for you? Reduce hyfax wear? And is it a simple bolt on or do you have to do some modifications

And a blue seat? Sheesh lol. Sled looks good otherwise...I assume hydro dipped?
I have a feeling that is where NOS was really going with it

Haha yeah I realized that after I put the seat on. I was well one of these things isn't like the other. I think they sell a red and black seat cover that would match well. And yeah I gotta do something about the shovel haha

Ya - there more the rail is supported by wheels the less grinding of the sliders in low snow. Most of the wheels its as simple as taking the old ones off and reinstalling larger ones.
