On my '10 RS Venture GT, just put the chaincase back together for a track change. With the rotor on, I've got about 2-3mm of side play of the rotor on the shaft. I've got just one washer or shim between the circlip and rotor. The repair manual shows one shim and washer and the parts fiche shows three shims and the washer.
I've seen this thread in the Apex section that talks about it but doesn't say how much play there should be and the manual doesn't mention how much play there should be. How much play should there be?
First pic shows the parts fiche and the second the repair manual.

I changed my track last winter, it had 24000 km on it.
I just checked my side movement, and I have about 1 mm of side play.
I don't remember there being 3 spacers in there.
I personally wouldn't worry about it, as the calipers and pads will just keep everything aligned anyway.
It would be impossible to bind up and lock up!
Same as your secondary clutch, it floats sideways slightly.

I put them together so no more shims will fit. I also use the shims in attempt to center the disk in the caliper, or at least make sure it won't rub either side of the caliper, since the caliper doesn't move.
