rough primary

Playing under the hood today (have no snow) took the belt off and noticed the primary is very abrasive ,but the secodary is not is this normal???should I polish the primary or just leave it???

Get a red colored Scotch Bright Pad. Pull your belt and start your sled. Very carefully starting at the bottom of each sheave apply the pad to the sheave and pull it to the top. Do this to each sheave until they are clean and shinny.

this will not hurt your clutch

Some people like it to be a bit abrasive. Grips better that way.
