My sled runs rough and backfires during its warm-up. After, the light goes out, it runs fine, but I still get some backfire when getting off the gas coming to a stop. Anyone, else have this?

What you are saying is your riding it before the red light goes out? The reason the red light is on is because the engine isn't properly warmed up. I don't ever touch the throttle on either My Apex or FX Nytro before the red light goes out and I've never had them run bad or backfire.

I let mine sit until it idles down. If its not properly warmed up it will backfire its a four stroke! Save youself the worry and let it warm up

Heck I have over 300 miles onmy FX nytro and it hardly wants to move before the light goes out!
But never a backfire once warmed up!!
.... I always liked giving a buddys 2 stroke back after a quick ride and just as I'm gettin off of it it back fires.... NOPE I wasn't running it hard! lol

They all seem a touch lean right off idle warmed up or not this shows up alot more with a wideband hooked to the sled, they idle close to 15:1 which is barley enough fuel to keep a gas engine running.
Adding +5 - +10 to your CO will fix it.

I don't touch it, I just let it idle and it keeps back firing until the light goes out.

My sled was backfiring during warm up; similar to what you were explaining when I rode this past Saturday. The temperature was around zero degrees Fahrenheit. The backfiring and sputtering went away as soon as it warmed up. It never did it when I started it in warmer temperatures. Maybe this will go away after break-in when the engine loosens up.
