I have a 06 RS Nytro with about 5,000 miles on it. The clutch is stock and has never has any service work done on it. I have not noticed any reduction in performance but I would like to get any recommended main. work done befor ethe season.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

IMO I would take off both clutches and go through them. Check the bushings and springs, something might be binding up. Yamaha clutches are pretty good for durability but anything could happen. Take the weights out and make sure theirs no rust build up around the bushings and the pins. Hows the belt?

if you find any wear, I would suggest only using OEM busings, pins etc.. i have tried generic ones in the past and found them to not fit properly, and wear very fast.

I'm not sure where you are located, but we offer clutch servicing for many customers. They box up their clutches and send them to us and we replace any items that need replacing. It is $40 + the cost of the parts.
