Hey Guys,
I didn't have my camera with me but we were staying in Hearst, Ontario Thursday night and there was a vector sitting with a group of other sleds. Was it a real one? It wasn't blue, it was sort-of silver/gold? Possible?

Totally possible.
Our local rep has a Vector and has been riding it for 1.5 - 2 months.
He was up in Shining Tree a few weeks back.

I had a vector ER for a weekend in february put on 200 MI, It is SWEET!!!! and will be trading or selling my RX-1 and purchasing a vector for next year. This sled feel's like it weigh's half of what my RX does and corner's extremely well but is very seteled and predictable. It is also very comfortable with the wider taller bar's and new seat. Milage ranged frome 14.5 lake & fast trail to 16.6 sit doun trail riding. You would love this sled. By the way it ran aside of my CPR clutched RX till 80 MPH or so. Very impresive bottom end.

kviper, what was the top end of the vector. How does it feel as far as hp, does it feel like 120hp or 105hp. In other words does it stretch the arm muscles.

kviper,
Thanks for the info. I am going to snowcheck a VectorER in the next week or two.
Glad to hear the sled is working well.
I was told the Vector is faster than the Viper and as you said runs with the RX until 80 mph or so.
I would also be interested to know what you saw at the top end.

The vector feel's as goog as the RX till 80 to 100 MPH then you can feel it start to ease up a bit from the RX. I saw 109 on the dream meter. I think the speedo was closer to actual than the RX was. I will be willing to loose a bit of top end for the lighter feel and handeling.

02snake definately closer to the 120. I had a 02 Viper and the vector i had would have beaten my viper as it was when i picked it up frome the dealer and as it ran after i clutched it , it would have been close but i think the vector still had more bottom end and mid range. I did run some 660' and 1/4 MI et's and MPH with my performance computer mounted on the sled but i can not post them per Yamaha's request, Hope you all understand but if the production one's run like this one did you wil be pleased and frome what i understand these were hand asembled with production parts so they should run the same.
