I have had some trouble with my rear susption in the past on my 05 vector. I went throught it this year replacing everything and welding gustets on the W/H arm. The sled has 7500 miles on it but i would like it to last 2 more years. IF the rear breaks this year i would like to put a diffrent suspention in. I was thinking of a cat rear due to the high strength, but compromise from the ride of the yamaha. I like how it rides now but it seamed i was working on the rear every couple weeks. I havent had any experience with newer yamaha suspentions but i would hope they fixed this problem. Fitting in another suspention wouldnt be the issue but more of finding a strong one with still having the same ride. Any suggestions?

I beefed up my stock one and added nytro shocks both front and rear and also added the stiffer nytro springs! So far so good!

I did a ZX2 when they were first made available. Best upgrade available IMHO.

I've got an 06 RS nytro skid with 1800 miles on it. I would sell the shocks and torsion springs from it if intersted. These will fit right into your 05 skid. The rear shock is a clicker shock which gives you ajustability.
