- 2006 Yamaha RS Venture
Hi guys,
This might seem like a strange first post, but I just got a Venture RS 2006 without a rear rack. Someone local has a cover sma-cover-67-00 for sale, which is for the Venture RS but with the rear rack.
I plan on using this to trailer, so I'd expect I'd want a tight fit. Can I make this cover work? Ideally, I'd like to add the rack to the machine anyway.
I'll have many more questions coming up, this site is great. So far I have answered many questions without a single post!
Like my leaking oil tank and orange dot tensioner. *le sigh*
Alternatively, does anyone have a cover or rack for sale? I'm in Ottawa Ontario.
Here's a picture for attention.

I can't say for sure but knowing Yamaha there is probably a provision for the addition of a rack in the cover, my 06 vk pro cover had expansion to allow the addition of a front rack, you just undid the two straps and now my venture multi purpose cover has the same in the back for removal of the rear seat, you had to pull two straps tight which took up the slack. cheers!
