I've been tossing around the idea of these two sleds the last couple days. Tomorrow I am ordering one or the other... Now all I have to do is decide. One question I have is are the handle bars any different between the two sleds. On the Yamaha site the RTX bars seem to be more aggressive than those on the Attak, but its hard to tell.

Could some of the lucky few who have seen/ridden them let me know what you saw?

Same on the handle bars as I remember. Close decision for me ER or RTX?
I for one am not afraid of the fox floats at all. My friends out west say no problems.
Attack is the BMW sedan of the group. Very smooth and stable.

Its kind of silly, me and two of my riding buddies are going tomorrow to put down our deposit on 06s... We decided all to get differnet sleds. One guy is set on the GT, the other told me he'll get whatever I don't. We are thinking between the Attak and RTX... I think the RTX better suits what I want to get out of the sled, however it would be fun to have the only long track (can I call the 136 a long track?) in the group... I'm trying to find an edge one way or another...

BTW, my dealer told me that he couldn't order any more GTs as of last Friday - he had 2 extras on order - one for my buddy, but other than that people are SOL... Anyone else heard of this deadline?

Yeah, Kevin from Port says the cutt off date was second week of march. So everybody has to guess how many GTs they well sell. Only thing he could figure is that they need extra time to build the clicker shocks.

Tork, go for the RTX, gotta love the red and the flames.

I too have discussed it with enough users of the Fox Floats to trust them completely.

So tork did you get to play with the front clickers at all,and what did you think of them, were they stiff, and how easy was it to adjust the rebound on the olins under neith the skid??with snow in there,my walkers are a bear to do in the back, and even theRA adjuster on the outside tunnel on an er is a chore to adjust when sitting on the sled,i tried to adjust the ones we were on up in colebrook, you really need to get off the sled to do it and find out where it is,this is why i really liked the idea of adjustments on the fly..
