RTX SE MPH

I saw 102 on a flat, hard railbed last weekend.
Dead even with an 03 F7 on top and a mph or 2 on top behind an 08 F8.

Then ya got a slow F7, cause when I was at 111MPH my buddy's 04 F7 was walking by me...No way no how are you going to beat an F7 on top end (stock vs. Stock)

Yea that is what i was thinking....... When i had a stocker my buddys F7 snow Pro with a big track would walk me on top end..

Well, before we pinned it both he and his buddies all told me how fast his F7 is/was? We were side by side down a railbed at about 50 to 55 we both pinned it and he pulled me by a mile per hour or 2 after about a half to 3/4 mile side by side run up to top speed, I hit 102 on speedo and he said his said 105. We both slowed to the 55 area again and both pinned again, I pulled ahead by a couple sled lenghts, was waiting for him to catch and pass me and it never happened. We got to our destination and I said I was happy that they were pretty close and he said "pretty close, I would say that's about as even as you could get" I know that the 03's were the fast ones and he's never had any engine problems with his. I never raced anyone from a dead stop but I would love to because from trading sleds and feeling the pull of the SE, I am not sure anyone could touch me. Also for comparison, my other friends 06 Apex GT had about 6 or 7 mph more on top than me.
Skydog, did I meet you at Zastrows a few years ago when you were on a Cat or am I thinking of someone else?

Has anyone verified speed with GPS or radar on the nytro? Willing to bet none of you are getting into triple digits.

Dan

You are probably right Dan, I was just going off both of our speedo's. We don't have a GPS now. I also only had 370 miles or so on my sled at the time we ran them.

I am think that the dream meter is about 8-10 MPH off. Dosent matter, there is no drag racing trails where I ride.
