2014 SR Viper RTX SE
I have scoured the forum and have not been able to find any definitive info regarding my questions so I decided to create a thread. I don't post many threads because I don't want to double up on information so if I am duplicating someone else's post I apologize.
I am looking to replace the running boards and seat on my 14 RTX SE 129. I am not a trail rider and am rarely on any sort of level terrain so I find myself switching between sitting and standing constantly. The current stock boards are acting like giant shovels so I would like to replace them with some open boards. As far as a seat my goal is to find something that may make transitioning a little easier and or possibly have a pack on it as well.
I am struggling to find any information on boards or seat that will fit my sled. I have contacted a couple manufactures about boards via email asking for assistance with no replies. So with all of that rambling out of the way here is my question. Does anyone have some information, suggestions or recommendations that they could pass along to me please? I would greatly appreciate any assistance. - Thanks

Any of the aftermarket Proclimb boards should fit up to 2016. As far as seats look for ones that specifically say Fits Viper or 7000, Arctic cat has a few different seat options for the 7000 series sleds. Skins and WPS also have seats.

try a mountain seat on there, there a little taller than the trail seat no bag tho.there are some nice boards out there i would love to update mine but for the price and you have to cut the originals off i just went ahead and bought the grippers from Yamaha and added them

Black Diamond Xtreme has some boards on sale. I was looking at getting a set but I haven’t had any issues keeping my boards clear of snow yet.

Thank you for the link. Was ACAFRB200 the model number you were thinking? If not could you point me in the right direction?
I would call them and explain exactly what your trying to get from your running boards. They should be able to help you with the seat as well.

I ended up going with the Black Diamond Xtreme - Pro-Lite Aluminum Running Boards. Thank you blueironranger for pointing out the sale to me. They showed up at my front door in less than 2 days which was awesome! However they came with no instructions. Not a huge deal but I would like to know exactly where to make cuts. Now I just need to find a seat :)

I decided on the Skinz FreeRide X-Low Seat. While I am at it I decided to add a SSI Black Ops muffler and Racewerx Front Bumper. To top it off I ordered custom graphics from ArcticFX which should be here next week ;)!. I'll post pictures when I get the graphics on.
