I am on the edge of buying a new RTX - mostly ride on groomed trails and ditches...not sure which to go with. I can get the Attak for nearly the same money - about $100 more....so nothing to significant. Really like to ride fast trail and lake racing. Which do you think would be right? I have a friend with a fast F7 and ZR9 - would like to keep up across the lake!! :nos

Go for the ATTAK... It can ride fast trails, beleive me, and will not spin out so easy on softer snow, more traction... RASH

i like what you did with that color on that skid...real nice..
I too say attak...supposed to hookup better than the rest

I say RTX. the only reason is you say "fast trail" riding. To me the shorty has the advantage. You also say "lake riding". the shorty may have more top end. You don't say, "off trail" which is the strong point of the attak.

Ya what did you do to the skid plate.

I have read from 3 guys now that say their Attaks could not be caught by Apex's. The Attak will also be more stable at speed. As far as fast trail riding goes, I think we'll have to wait and see. Many have reported that with the rider being placed more forward it makes the 136 incher feel more like a 121.

RTX vs Attak

Thanks for all that reported...I too think Attak as I like the reverse and the longer skid...however, love the black hood and cowl!!! The RTX is one bad #*$&@ looking sled.

Thanks and look forward to seeing you on the trails~

One other thing that no one has mentioned so far.........the "windkini" on the RTX. I was one of the lucky ones who got to ride the prototypes, and let me tell you, the midget windshield is COLDER than even the shortie on the rev platform. Downright useless.

Now, if looks mean more than comfort.....by all means have at it LaLaLa

u can get reverse with the RTX same as the attak

A 121 will outrun the 136 mid and top. Attak has the same power, less gearing and more rolling resistance = slower.

sx7001, you are right, but there are lot of people on this board that think differently, but I just can't see how.
