Where is the Nelson's Snow Show located? I currently don't have anything planned for that weekend so this may give me something to do; snow fever seems to be coming a little early this year. Unless, of course, I have to spend half a day getting there.

Hey,
It's about 40-45 minutes north east of Grand Rapids, MI. It's just outside the town of Greenville, MI, about 3 or 4 miles north. Address is 4566 N GREENVILLE RD., Greenville MI. 48838 (off their website).

Thanks rollinonmy1ton, that's not too far after all. In fact, last year before heading up north to the UP for a weekend ride, I had just installed a new 1.25" track on my RX-1 and wanted to get some saddle time on it before heading up there. I did a search on the web for local trails and came across the Kal-Haven trail. It was only about 30 miles long but I thought this would be perfect; not too far from home and it would let me address any issues with the new track install so that I wouldn't have to contend with it up in the UP. When I got up there, I ended up running into a DNR officer and got to talking with her. She gave me a map of the local trail system and I about sh!t myself. I realize that area is probably more susceptible to warm weather than its counterparts in the upper lower pennisula and UP but if conditions are favorable, I just found a whole trail system that was only 3.5 hours away. 8)
Looks like I just now made plans for that weekend.

I live 100 yards from the kal-haven trail... I've put on a lot of happy/fun miles on that 30 mile trail. From this trail you can go south all the way to indiana. Go north all the way to gun lake and beyond.. We sometimes get dumped on by lake effect snow and the people from the northern lower have been known to come down here to ride. You will find good food and small/quaint towns along the way. MM.

I own an 03 F7 sno pro and a 04 warrior. THe F7 is quicker and handles bumps much better.I find the F7 to be a rattlebox,THe warrior I find to be very smooth, excellent on gas and much more refined. I plan on putting a clutch kit in the warrior and an ecp kit. THe F7 is currently for sale if anybody is interested.
