after taking the machine out of storage it ran lousy, problem presented itself similar to last season. I put in frsh gas and it cleared itsolf out... this year I replaced the plugs, pulled the carbs. cleaned bowls, needle valves, jets, blew out fuel lines and cleaned fuel pumps. runs the same.... I found that the sled runs on 2 cyl at idle. I have swaped coil packs from hole to hole and the same 2 dont want to fire at idle or mid-range. I can however get the sled to wide open and it seems to clear out. I have tried shooting fuel in the carbs that arent firing and that does not wake it up. anyone out there have encountered this issue?

Are you saying that you shifted the coils around and the bad cylinders moved with the coils? If so, then you have already figured out your problem - get some new coils.
If the problem didn't move, I would check compression.
You said you checked the carbs. I would also check your fuel pump - are you getting gas to all 4 carbs? You might have to swap them around too to see if the problem moves with the carb.
But first since it runs at WOT, I would put a can of Seafoam with the new gas and run it wide open to force it through the carbs. The stuff does work.
