I posted this question over in the RX room and I am curious to see how the ansers differ....Looking for some opinions...RX1 vs Vector...I ride an 02 Viper today and want a sled with the power to run next to anything but with the ability to do it in the trails and tight turns of the woods. I am a bit concearned that the RX1 might not be nimble enough to feel light and small like the sleds I have always run...Any thoughts?

RX1 vs. Vector
That's my reasoning behind purchasing my Vector, but I have never ridden an RX1 so I can't compare the two. Hopefully I can get a chance to compare the mighty RX1 to my Vector soon. I think I'm going to be happy with my purchase once I get it out on the twisty trails. The power is definitely there!

I have a RS Rage and I must say that I am dissapointed on the speed action. Offcourse you can ride it faster on tight trails but on the other ahnd you f´dont have a top speed or acc that the RX1 has

windorosso, we have worked on clutching that improves the bottom, mid, and top speed acceleration for both the Vector and Rage. Details coming in a day or two on www.ulmerracing.com

RX1 vs Vector
I thought my Vector ran pretty darn good, but keep us posted on the clutch info.

I'll have some graphs when I get time to sort through all the information. Having a month old son has slowed down my ability to work on sled stuff some nights!

rode my vector today on some snow for the first time, and it doesn't feel nearly as fast as my viper... rides nice and is powerfull, but doesn't have that snap
(then again it was only for 3 miles)

Funny, I thought my VectorER pulled harder than my Viper....
Just goes to prove that without the two side by side you can't really tell.

every single person ive talked to about the vector has said it will keep up with the RX1 for the first 3/4 of its powerband, then the RX1 is gone. The RX has 25more hp (120 vs 145), so if you want speed, the RX1 is what you want.

My vector felt very strong... The vector handles better.. Will more than likely use less gas. Feels lighter.. Can't go wrong with either one.. MM.

Vector vs. RX1
I had a tough time deciding too. Picked the Vector because I'm almost always in the trails. So far it feels PLENTY fast enough. Either way, it's definitely a nice break from the smoke. I've been washing last year's jacket to try to get it to where I can wear it just for a winter coat, but so far the smell is still too strong...

Hey 2more, Keep that new Vector at the front of the pack or you'll still smell like 2 stroke after shave!! LOL

I'll give it my best shot flyboy. At least it will be fun trying. Our bunch all have new sleds. F7, Rev 600HO, Polaris Edge, and my Vector. Lots of good humored bashing going on there!

This is it. The Butt Dyno is so easily fooled. All the guys who demo rode them last year said they felt electric, which means they are deceptively fast. I bet it is on par or even a little faster than the viper
