Depends if you want boondocking or more top speed.Boondocking;8dn1760510 55 grams,p/p/p primary, silver secondary,if you a bit of boondocking and more top speed then go with the 05 specs. The 8dn's make it feel like a sports car ,very snappy.

how this setup is doing. Holeshot ? RPM will climbing ? top speed ?

For now, i'm 8FA stock weight, fully loaded 2 plain rivets 17.2 and green-yellow-green. good holeshot, good top speed, but not enough rpm will climbing or when riding in deep powder. motor seem to seat down, spring not enough hard.

I have buy 8BU-00 weight, but i'm lost on what i must do with these weight. I ride same elevation than your.

On drag in powder i get 10000-10200, and on hard i get 10700-10500 with 155 km/h top speed. But when climbimg in powder i can't manage more than 9600-9700

The setup above is for a complete stock machine that i was passing on
to my brother with a 04 mtn.....

This is my setup with these mods.

Primary 89A-10's
P/S/P spring no shims
14.5 mm rollers
17.5mm rivet with hole in tip

Silver secondary spring with 6-2 Twist

Stock helix

All stock settings on carb

Freddies K&N's with red holtz springs

With reverse

Top end speed about 165 klm in 1/2klm
and rev's 10,700 back down to 10,200 everytime

Elevation 0 - 2000'

This has been working good for me

I changed the twist on secondary from 6-1 to 6-2 and that fixed my down shift problems when hill climbing.

I need to do some tuning too, just bought "new" 03 RX-1 Mtn and came from Doo so I need help. At home (prairies) I am under 2500' so I can use above set up. What about 4 - 8000' in Revy, need good set up? Anyone have tried and true? Bought yellow springs too? Do they work? What other changes are effective, I was going to order transfer kit and longer sway links - hear good and bad but what's best?

I have some feedback for you from my experience with the yellow

This spring work great on trail. But the rate of 2.5 is too soft, the rpm drop when the load raise. Stock it's 3.25
