rx1 priming the oil pump

I am putting a rx1 together and I was wondering how to prime the oil pump. I was wondering if you guys have any tricks. I tried making a search to find out how to do it. I could find anything.

I have never done it. Talk to your dealer and ask them if it needs to be primed maybe its gravity fed and primes itself automatically.

There is info, its kinda hard to find it on here. But what I was told is to blow air into 1 of the hoses that goes to the oil tank. Think it was RXrider that told me about it. I had to do it on mine after rebuild.

Was told from yamaha service rep that there packed with grease @ the factory to make them prime. I know after I started mine the oil wasnt plumbing around. It was a full rebuild. Did the air trick, oil started to move. But I dont want to guess @ what line it was. RXRider is great wealth of knowledge on this forum. He will know the answer or how to point you towards.
