oil pump

I have not had oil in my Phazer for aver a month am i going to need to prim my pump or is it self priming?

Its self priming but there is a bleed screw you might want to use.I would also crank it over once you add the first 1.5 qts without starting it to prime.Better safe than sorry.

There has been once or twice with mine when it has been rolled and lost oil pressure that it wouldn't pick it back up at an idle. would start it and let it idle for a short time and the warnings wouldn't go out and you could hear the lifters ticking. finally got on it and started it and burped the throttle as soon as it was started, enough to move the sled about ten feet and it picked up oil pressure then.
