Hey guys I need some help, I have an 03 RX1 with a Boondocker 2860 Turbo, I am running 2 head gaskets as well. The sled runs great once on boost but about the bottom quarter or bottom 3rd of the throttle has a bog. It will actually backfire when you turn it off it hasn't been ran up on the RPM's to clean out some of the fuel. My wuestion is where to start to lean out this bog?

You first need to determine if it is a rich or lean bog, a Wide Band O2 is in order.
Then once you can identify where in the throttle you are either rich or lean you can work on that circut.

I have a fix for RX1 bottom end rich bog. I stock turbo diaghram springs for the carbs.Thay will lean out the bottom and mids yet still have the needed fuel for WOT. A cheap fix for only $54.95

Try running it down low with the choke on. If it gets better it's lean if it gets worse its rich. Mid is easy to clean up with the needles. What have you got for pilot jets?

Hurricane - How is the best way to get a hold of you? I am interested in purchasing the springs you recommend.

I'm easy to find at 613-925-5171 eastern time 9to5 or go to my web site.We offer many solutions( that are not found on my web site) to problems created by performance upgrades. Everything that we do has been tested to work in the real world. The latest is the testing of a big bore and big stroke engine. So far, it makes 400hp and 265lbs torque at 18lbs boost. It will run on pump gas. This has been made posible using our block upgrades

aluminum carb tops make a big difference also...the stock plastic ones can leak...we run stock pilots and 127.5 mains at 5-8000 ft elevation. Check your float level and make sure your not running too much fuel pressure.
