Does anyone know if their kit takes away on the holeshot for drag racing, since the engagement is lowered

I would have to say that it would improve your holeshot for racing. The clutch kit allows your belt to engage sooner or quicker as you press the throttle. Therefore, your track spins sooner than the stock set up. This is why their clutch kit is so smooth.

smooth takeoff and hooks up great!!!! Hold on!!!!!!!!

Much better holeshot! Very happy with mine! Chris is a great guy to work with!

digging up an old post here, but the stage 2 kit form schmidt bros, will it also increse your top end speed a little as well as mid range and holeshot? and how does it compare to ulmers kit for those aspects?

I would say my takeoff and midrange improved dramatically!! The midrange is apex-like when you hit the throttle!!!!! My top end speed was maybe only +2-3 mph but that could have been conditions....Overall VERY impressed!!!! Schmidt Bros. overdrive clutch machining may get you more in the top end.....

Is there many nytro guys running the super rat kiy? Just wondering if an how they liked it

I had a set of RAT's in my XTX; couldnt get them to perform properly. Stock weights were 60g, rats were 69.9...to much weight increase. I couldnt get my RPMS over 8500. Still waiting on a 39 helix to try with them.

What is the break down of the stage 2? How much weight, spring & helix?

I finally got my sled on snow. The schmidt bros stage II rips!!

Just purchased and installed the stage II kit. Would be nice to have snow to test but may have to wait for a trip up north in a few weeks. I am thinking about upgrading my exhaust. What exhaust would match up with the stage II other than SBM dual exhaust. SBM dual looks nice but the header is still the same. Thoughts....

I got my SBM kit installed and was drag racing on the lake against a stock nytro w/o studs and i would get the hole shot but he would keep right up or beat me idk whats going on only thing i can think of is my clutching is a bit off running 8,900-9,000 rpms
