wondering if anyone has tried schmidtbros primary clutch overdrive machining or the secondary helix overdrive machining. and if so did it make the 4-5 mph higher top end?

I have done that, and yes. 104mph GPS. I think it might hit 105-7. Ran out of room and with no ice last year, hard to tell.
Primary machining and secondary helix and the low RPM engagement.

Also their extra wheel kit, Yamaha's marginal snow wheels and 4th wheel. I have 96 studs down the middle too. Love the clutch kit, can't wait to put it thru the paces a little more. Only got to ride a couple of times last year.

In stock form with zero mods my 09 rtx se would run 105 mph on the lake all day. Is there a difference maybe a little, you would be better relocating the skid with ulmers racing or stars suspension brackets and going to a 128" track if top end is what you want plus it will stabilize the sled alot in the trails. Just my 2 cents

i'm not to concerned about top end just thought that 4-5 mph more for $60 was a good deal. not interested in relocating the skid but thanks for the info thats why i love this site
