School me on Yamaha four strokes

In short:

Vector is 120hp carbed 3 cyl 4 stroke
Rage is vector but 136"
Nytro 06-07 is aggresive vector

Nytro 08+ is stand up 130 hp fuel injected aggressive sled similar to a ski doo rev but actually runs

Good luck
Vector was carbed 973cc 120hp until 2009,went in DeltaBoxII chasis in 2008, went 1049cc FI 126hp in 2010
Rage was changed to Vector LTX /LTX GT in 2008

Vector LTX/LTX GT were the 136" I was referring to when it replaced the Rage in 2008.

I haven't riden a FI Vector, must be impressive if the difference is amazing.

i've noticed the difference. the mid range torque and throttle respoonse is very noticable. my 2008 vector will still beat dads 2010 vector in a race. but i got 1.5 ripsaw and took out my transfer bar. the engine also runs alot smoother as the computer syncs the throttle bodies, my carbs are outta wack on mine making it idle rough.

My 05 Warrior had the 136" pro-action, which, after a little tuning, seemed to work real well for me at 6' 2", 115 #.
It was also carbed, not injected.

gf7duster - I'd spend a little more $ and go to the 07 Attack GT with the 136" track, fuel injection, rider forward position, and mono-shock suspension. You'd spend a little more up front but wouldn't need to do as many upgrades.

as long that its a yami thats all that matters

Looking at an '07 Attack GT
So that is a 150hp fuel injected sled witha 136" skid
Is that a mono

Opinions?
Good choice?

yes and yes.

you will have a hard time setting that suspension up to handle any kind of rough stuff without bottoming out. I know 2 guys that have/had that sled, you will need to spend a lot of time and money on that skid. I know there were valving changes made to the 08 suspension and mine rides better than the 07.

Realy! At 115 pounds he will bottom that out!!!
You will like that sled, my wife has an 06 attack and it is a blast to drive. If you plan on doing much off trail riding I would suggest a deeper lug track than the stock one. In the powder my 03 rx1 136" with a 1.75 backcountry performs much better than it with a stock track.
