The South Dakota Snowmobile Drag Race Association is looking to get more people involved in the sport of grass drag racing. We're looking at possibly having a "Amature Race Clinic" for next spring about a month before the grass drags are scheduled to start (probably sometime in May).
We (SDSDRA) would meet somewhere (location still undecided) and help guys set up there sleds by plumbing in for the cool-down cart, building cheap cool-down carts (cooler and bilge pump), removing hyfax, and adding wheels, and then let them make a run down a field.
We would then hold a short seminar about what equipment they might need, and what they will expect at races, and then help them get set up. We would also have clutch weights, etc for the different models (Heavy Hitters, Super Tips, etc) at a discounted price.
We could do it all in 1 day, start at 8:00am, and have like a Bar-B-Que at 6:00. Make a package deal with hoses, fittings, couplers, coolers, and bilge pump, and battery, etc.
Let me know what you guys think about this.

Sounds good. Bring a hole saw for the coolers and a leaf blower for the clutches. Give them good transfer and they are" hooked" Also tell them about engagment, gears, jetting and have fun.
