Just thought I'd mention something I've noticed on my blue and white se. The rear tunnel bag that comes standard has the 2 zippers on them. Cut them off! Leave the zipper there just cut off the longer handle part. I knew this would happen as soon as I seen the setup but I left it to in hopes that it wouldn't. They rub on the tunnel and I just noticed today after I washed my sled that it rubs through the powder coat. Hopefully it doesn't spread anymore. Just a small amount about an inch longer and it's not noticeable unless u get there and look. Just warning people of it. Cut them off, the zipper still works fine without them
I noticed that also. Good tip!
Now we need a cure for the stream of brake dust on the white tunnel...

First thing I did was wrap with thin electrical tape. No issues of rub marks. I plan on replacing with a tunnel bag anyway, the original looks dumb!

I wrapped mine with tape before I even rode mine as well. Seen that coming.Apex2006 said:First thing I did was wrap with thin electrical tape. No issues of rub marks. I plan on replacing with a tunnel bag anyway, the original looks dumb!

I've always used a small tube of electrical shrink tube on my zipper pulls, cheap, works great, and no tape residue over time.

I put clear tape in the tunnel wear ever my saddle bags rubbed in past this worked to protect the sled finish
If I had a new Viper I would do the shrink wrap and tape..... But then again I am a 'belt and suspenders ' kind of guy. LOL

Just put some extra rags inside and make the bag fill up more and the zippers won't scratch the paint. Worked for me.
