Here is mine...I took out the plastic inserts/supports (which are inside and they run along the sides of the bag from back to front) which allows the bag to collapse so it doesn't look so balloony. I have stuff in the bag but if there wasn't anything in there it would collapse more.

I wish they made the base model LTX bag, but slightly longer and taller as an accessory.

I love mine I have powered outlet in it for accessories

Yes it is the AC mid height ws with the AC mirror kit. I would say on a scale of 1-10 it is about a 4 with 10 being the most difficult. The hardest part is getting the lower "wings" cut off so that they are the same on each side of the ws. I wrote more about this in the Viper ws thread.

I've seen a few like that on ebay as well. dont forget to order the hardware kit if you got one of the ones without it.

I just couldnt stand having that cat logo on my sled! I wish it wasnt embossed into it... otherwise some vinyl dye would take care of it!

Just an FYI...I ordered the expandable tunnel bag you are all discussing. I have a '14 RTX SE; a couple comments for those considering this bag:

1) If you put much stuff in this bag it won't fit completely in the space alotted on the tunnel, rather the end of it has to sit on TOP of the rear light (i.e. it's a bit too long even when I have it snugged all the way forward).
2) I agree with Powersports1; the Viper's seat latch definitely gets in the way. In face, after my 1st ride (only 150 miles) the seat latch has already torn a hole through my brand new bag. NOT very happy; it will be going back to the dealer.

Had same problem on my rtx.
I just took out the bottom piece of plastic and foam and cut it an inch and half shorter so it doesn't lay on the light.
Then rounded corners on seat latch.
Rode 150 miles yesterday and no problem at all.

I bought the tunnel pack part number SMA-8JP63-00-00 it came with no instructions or hardware. When I called the dealer they told me it has to be ordered separate which I am not sure is true but they are ordering me the part that goes in the tunnel. Is the foam piece supposed to attach to the tunnel and if so how does instructions show to attach it?

Mine came with two buttons for front straps and rivets for them.
The foam I'm talking about is the piece inside the bag.

My bag has a foam piece inside and then had another foam piece. I thought it maybe attached to tunnel so it did not scuff it but I have no instructions so was just guessing. I think it was a return item and maybe I should also make it a return item and get one in a sealed bag lol. I really like the way it looks and it fits on the LTX perfect no issue with tail light once I get it attached I will check it by seat latch.

I been told that the large Yamaha tunnel bag is not for the rtx model. Supposedly 2014 catalog states its for ltx ect.
2015 Accessory book states this bag fits the sr vipers. This bag looks a little big and probably will sit on taillight and could rub through.

Im doing a powderkeg, and i hope to have it, and pictures of it on the XTX by friday for you all. the 700 series fits 137" and longer tunnels.
no more zippers failing on me!!!!!
