I have the expandable tunnel bag and love it! I have had it on my sled since 2014 with zero issues. Bag has plenty of room for spare belt tow strap hats gloves tools maps drinks owners manual. This bag will fit almost anything you need for a long day on the trail.I am trying to decide on what luggage to get. I heard you have to unzip two zippers on the expandable tunnel bag, sounds like a PIA. Anyone purchase the "seat pack" that mounts next to the seat? Does it keep it's shape? If I go this route looks like there may be room to possibly mount a second aftermarket bag (Skinz), that buts up against the seat pack, that I could use on overnight trips. Every day use would be the seat pack and then on occasion add the aftermarket bag. I am not a fan of the saddle bags and want to make use of the long tunnel on my LTX SE.
I am torn between this and looking into purchasing the tunnel bag that comes standard with the base model Viper. Any thoughts on how others are setting up luggage on this sled would be welcome.

Searching older posts looking for a larger bag to take an extended trip into Canada. I have a 2016 SR S-TX DX 137" with the side tunnel bags. Will I be able to use the large tunnel bag: SMA-8jp63-00-00 in conjunction with those side bags?
Thanks!
Thanks!

If you have the newer style saddle bags for the viper/winder that tunnel bag should fit fine. I bought one and I will be running a similar set up.Searching older posts looking for a larger bag to take an extended trip into Canada. I have a 2016 SR S-TX DX 137" with the side tunnel bags. I like mine, just be mindful that it's pretty easy to put too much weight in it and have it dish your tunnel! I had 2 water bottles that froze solid that bounced around in hurry to get home as I stood up and hammered through the bumps.I have the expandable tunnel bag and love it! I also went with the PowderKeg, the smaller 124 Combo. Here's a pic of just the storage unit installed, no gas can under.
This is the way I will use it 90% of the time, the extra fuel will be nice when needed thou...

That is a slick looking setup! Am I to understand you can purchase a fuel caddie that fits beneath the 124 at a later date, or does one come with it??I also went with the PowderKeg, the smaller 124 Combo. Here's a pic of just the storage unit installed, no gas can under.

you are correct, I purchased both the fuel caddy and the storage unit shown as a combo, you buy the combo or the storage unit itselfThat is a slick looking setup! Am I to understand you can purchase a fuel caddie that fits beneath the 124 at a later date, or does one come with it??

I was reading the specs for the YC-124-CM and it states 15lbs. I am a bit concerned with that spec. Can you confirm your model and the dry weight, with and without mount. Thanks. Other than the weight it would seem to be a very nice set-up.I also went with the PowderKeg, the smaller 124 Combo. Here's a pic of just the storage unit installed, no gas can under.

I think the 15 lbs is the shipping weight of the combo, I will weigh it when I get a chance, you could call Chris the owner, he was great to deal with, answered all my questions and returned calls!!
