love the new site. i got a question. is it normal to find oil in the recoil on a trimoto 200e. its my great uncles and has never been ridden hard and has only ever pulled 2moose out and moved junk around at the camp

it is possible of greese on the recoil dogs that fly out and catch the recoil cup but I would think oil.....might be a seal. How much oil we talking??

it was about i/2 a cup worth when i pulled the recoil last fall and it was oil with just enough water to discoulur the oil. bike runs awsome and has only ever needed plug, oils changed, tires and shifter rod for gear box like all of the ones around here that i heard of broke the same way.
