I saw pictures awhile back of some one who changed grey stripe on GT seat to black. I am looking for any and ALL info. on what i should use. THANKS :rocks:

I did my RTX and used SEM Vinyl Prep #38343 to clean and prepare the seat and then sprayed it with SEM COLORCOAT #15243 SATIN BLACK. It turned out beautiful and you could never tell it was sprayed. I took the seat off to spray it. I am going to do my GT next. Just hope it lasts. I bought the Sem products at an auto paint supply store for about $21. Good luck.

I went to NAPA Auto Parts and picked up a can of their cheapie vinyl dye. The product works great. Don't be afraid, just tape off the rest of the seat and lightly spray it on after giving the vinyl a good cleaning. My seat looks awesome. Since it's a dye, it absorbs into the vinyl, you can't scratch it off with your finger.

I used the SEM spray dye too, just prep it correctly per the directions and it comes out mint. I also took my seat off and masked off everything except the gray stripe. Do light coats so you don't have a run and you'll be all set. The spray nozzle on the SEM can is a good quality nozzle I thought too.
