The stock spring setting for a Warrior is 3-3 what is the difference if you change to a 1-6 setting. Where can a person find info on these settings???

Thanks in advance :)

add the numbers and multiply by ten -thats the degrees of twist
the higher the twist the higher the rpm before shiftout
you basically want it to hit 10300(stock engine and airbox)as soon as you hammer the loud pedal from a dead stop or anytime you full throttle it

As you go up in number the spring gets tighter. This improves backshift and slows upshift. The primary has to work harder to overcome the force of the secondary. 6-1 is a good setting for the Warrior with the stock spring.

10 degrees extra isn't too much, but if you start going too high on the secondary twist angle, it will rob you of top end, it can be SEVERE if you crank it really tight. Just last week I finally came up with the patience to adjust the primary on my old sled (EX570 with a *very finely* tweaked motor, but NO heavy mods) so I could loosen the secondary WAY off (loosened it by about 60 degrees), and now I have the pleasure of looking backwards after 1/4 mile and seeing EVERYTHING (600cc) back at *least* 100 feet (yeah, that stock 98vmax600 was back about 300 feet). The way I had it before, it would beat everything off the line, but would be passed at about 1/8 mile like its standing still - now its strong all the way. BTW: haven't run against F6 because there were non (that worked), so I make no claims wrt that. Pretty good for a machine thats 17 years old.

Moral of the story: your primary and secondary must work together. You need to find the perfect balance - which is NOT something that you can do by adjusting only one or the other.
