secondary clutch

Hi all can someone tell me what the secondary end free play is on a 06 apex er the service manual says 1 to 2 mm but its been wrong may times before ............... thxs all

The service manual is right ...1-2mm is OK for secondary play.

If you don't like side to side free play you can always ad rubber washer and lock-it if your offset is done right ( 15 mm offset )

is the freeplay that critical because mine is at 3.5 mm ..

When you are going foward it should center with primary,when you let off the gas it will move side to side,if you are out of spec it may leave black mark on your clutch.

May worn your belt faster.
