Secondary spring change?

I have a 2007 Apex GT and have already changed to a 23 top gear and added proper tractions products. I read in the service manual that the Attack has all of the same clutching and gear set up as the Apex except for that gear I changed and the white secondary spring being a little stiffer and wound differently. Is that someting I should consider since I made the gear change, to reduce slipping or better yet to make any performance gains? Is the secondary wound tighter or loser on the Attack vs the Apex? How will that spring change affect rpm`s? Any feedback from those who have played with and made these changes would be great.

Apex = pink spring at 70
Attack = white at 60.
The white will slow down the secondary upshift & keep your sled in a lower gear longer then it should be. You want to use the least amount of secondary pretension to let the clutches upshift but yet so the belt won,t slip. 10 degrees wrap can help/hurt performance 2-3 lengths if gone too far in one direction. it can be a pretty fine line if your on the edge.

most of them set it at 60 degrees
3-3

By adding 10 degrees of twist on the ATTAK does that assist in the elieviation of the RPM drop on wide open starts?

Sounds like you might want to try both twist settings. That's what I did and found that the spec setting (60) was not as good for my purposes as the 70 degree twist. For others, I suspect that the spec would be just fine. It only takes a few minutes to change.
