Trying to learn as much as i can about clutch tuning. Although I know its a never ending journey.....test...test and then test again. I getting primary figured out and the different helixes as well. There was a thread talking about torquing up secondary spring. What actually happens when you set you secondary spring to the next hole from factory so I guess that would be 70 degrees and what is the seat of the pants feel.?
Digression: This is the best snowmobile forum hands down. It has helped me incredibly since I owned an RX-1.

Genarally every 10 degrees of wrap give another 200 rpms of rpm,but generally you wont feel much till shift out or near top end, some times it may not completely shift out if you over tighten the secondary, but this is a new roller set up,and Yamaha has never run a roller secondary before, generally on the helix angles, you can reduce the angle by 2-3 degrees with the free rolling secondary compared to sliding shoe design, reason they can get away with straight angle helix.Trying to learn as much as i can about clutch tuning.
