Im thinking about selling my 2003 RX-1 ER for the simple fact that the time has come to pay for another semester of college and dont have any money. Being there is no snow around here it seems that selling it would make sense.

My real question is if i were to ask 5000.00 for it would i be out of line?

The sled is completely stock and has about 620 miles on it.

Thanks
Chris

I, personally wouldn't take less then that for it, if it's mint. Trouble is, the sled market is crap right now for exactly the reason you state... no snow. You could probably get $4,000 - $4200 if you need quick money, but like I said, I'd hang on to it until better selling days come around.

Wait untill there is more snow.

Where are you from, I just had a guy on mine this weekend in the UP and he fell in love wants to dump his SRX and there is only 4 for sale on here and Ebay with reverse. PM me if you like.

Low to mid 4s for '03s on eBay. Just a point of reference. Depends on conditon, location, color, snow, etc ..................

$2500-$4000 in my area. With that mileage, probably the high range of that. I have debated selling mine several times to get $$$ to put into a bike, but I know mine would be at the low end...probably $2000 to $2500. That wouldn't go far toward a new bike, so it keeps sitting in my yard waiting for snow.

Next one you see for $2500, let me know and I'll own it!

For comparison - my nephew just sold his on e-bay Sunday night for $4,400. It was an ER in excellent shape, 3,200 miles. Central Iowa.

03 rx-1 worth?

IMO I don't think better selling says are ahead. Gas up here is $2.65 a gallon. More people getting out of the sport than getting in. Therefore, flooded market means low resale. If you can get $4200 for an RX-1 without any mods, take the money and run.

I got 03 RX-1 LE(no reverse) from a dealer before the season started and paid $4900 (out the door). It had 1700 miles and was in good condition. I talked to the person who traded it in, and the dealer gave him $4000 for it.
