Sorry if I missed it, but did you guys do any runs with K&Ns or just the air box mod.

No, we didn't.
I wish we had them, but then again... That would have turned into a 2 day session. We were trying the Jowett filter instead.

So you are running a modified air box now with the full Hindle system?

Yes, running now with modded air box.
Here's the thing...
This goes against everything we've all been thinking or believed thus far.
We ran dyno tests, air horns only and got big gains. (zero intake restriction).
Then tried to simulate the above with air box mods.
And got it very close.

Mark or Ryan, did any of you switch to CR10EK plugs...

No I didn't and I had them there, just forgot and ran out of time...I should toss them, I would have liked to see if they made a gain on my application...I may just toss them in anyway, I still have some work to do on the sled and it will apart that far anyway.

I checked the motovan site about the full hindle system. Looks to be pretty pricey. Listed in parts. Front part $799.99, Slip on $99.99, Muffler $349.99. They list 3 different options as under, hidden, and stock location. maybe im reading the site wrong ?

Under might refer to the visible system and stock location would be the stealth system...same with hidden. Currently there are only 2 versions...visible where the muffler is exposed out the rear, and stealth which is hidden behind the stock plastics...you can also buy slipons ( muffler to stock header ) in those same 2 versions.

We are selling the complete exhaust system for $899.Your choice of visable or stealth. We are also selling a Hindle-Hurricane kit for $1750.This kit comes with your choice of visable or stealth complete exhaust,RB3 with map,Hurricane air box mod and replacement primary cam arms to clutch it.

Is the slip-on muffler only $99. How loud is it and does it come with everything needed to mount it.

No, $99 is for the elbow that connects the muffler to the stock header...I'm not sure why Motovan lists it the way they do.

Guys... You've seen my chart.
Looking for your opinion on clutch weights / kit.
This sled is mostly a trail rider with a few lakes to get across.
No serious drag racing except for the occasional roll on between buds.
Cheers

No kidding... My sled NEVER runs at 160! It's always around 180 unless in low snow.

I'm curious, trying to figure something out.
You've been watching running temp allot over the past while.
Will your sled run and maintain 180 even on cold days like -15C or -20 C?
Or will it run just even a little cooler like 175...
Since the t-stat is a 170 it should start to open right around there.
If it is cold enough outside air... The coolant temp should be pushed down just a little bit.

Huge,I would get that air temp sensor right infront of the filter if you can

Why there... I was thinking of running just outside of the hood if I can?

Can you order from your site? Is that were all the styles and prices for them are too?

On long lake pulls on cold days (after I fixed my front cooler icing issue) it would drive the temp down to just over 170, average trail temps on normal days with normal snow would cycle between around 178 to 190, I imagine this cycling is from ice forming and clearing around the front cooler.

Are you saying that the colder the air temp gauge gets, the better the mapping would be?
