Definately shim your skies! You will see what everybody is talking about if you read Scott Bergstroms article on his website. Shows you his products and how to shim. The web address is"bergstromskegs.com"

Your welcome!
JUST FOR ANOTHER OPINION. i SHIMMED MY SKIS AND TRIED STUD BOY DEUCE BARS AND WOODYS DOOLEYS. ALSO TRIED BOTH UNSHIMMED. WOODYS DOOLEYS AND UNSHIMMED IS THE WAY TO GO! SHIMMING MAKES FOR HARDER STEERING IN THE CORNERS. LIKE I SAID, JUST MY OPINION.

Apples vs. oranges comparison. Woody's are dual runner carbides, whilst Simmons are dual runner skis. Simmons skis are excellent on the RS/RX platform because they widen the ski stance by another 1.5 inches. They carve and float better, with a little more steering effort than stock.
