Sketr2, relax, I don't think nor interpreted anyone taking shots at your postings. What you have posted has been your honest results racing your buddies. That is what most of do us anyway, so it was good hear how the Warrior did against other sleds. Besides, the riders have a lot to do with outcome when racing against friends.

I agree!! its what happens on the trail and lake that matters not what happens in the PRO drag races who are tottally moded with cost as not an option!!

Mike, Lets talk on this, I need a plan of attack and the dates and so on, I am in for next year...would love to have Totallyamaha com out on top. Maybe able to get some of the advertisers to kick in for us and we can run their name on the sleds running the shootout and aslo on some pit shirts and so on.....Great Idea

I will be game for offering dynotime at a discount, or free if the publicity from the deal is advantageous for a race shop like mine.
I could also get some "special" pricing on a Turbo kit and would also consider doing a NA motor at a discounted price...once again if there is something in it for my company that proves to be a dividend down the road.
I have 28 years of racing behind me and most of it is dragracing. My company builds the current record holding dragrace suspensions for the quickest and fastest dragsled in the world and 3 time back to back to back Canadian World series and U.S. World Series of dragracing champion.
If you are serious about this and want the absolute best that could be offered, I will entertain listening to any proposal. Just so everyone understands though...even with discounts and stuff for free, this is not going to be cheap. If this ever comes to be and seems like it could be a reality, I would like to see a proposal in writing. Most of you know how to get in touch with me. This would need to get rolling no later than July or August depending on the level of sled desired.
I also admittedly need to know more about the shootout as I have never been. From listening to everyone talk, it sounds like a speedrun or dragrace except only one sled at a time on the track. What I need to learn more about is the terrain being raced upon. Are there Bumps, uphill, downhill, snow, grass, ice??? From what I have read in years past, it seems as though it is possible to overpower the racetrack. This now becomes who has the better setup for the conditions and not who makes the most HP. I also would not want to be the only entry or only one of a few Mods there. No one cares who wins practice.

FREDDIE you are exactly right,, It is about the best traction setup!! Not who make the most power!!
It had rained the day before the amsnow shoot out so i guess it was pretty icy!!

Word of mouth gets around very fast especially on the internet!! I would think they would care what i had to say becuase it is the small consumer that buys Sleds, atvs, etc etc...From them!!

Tom, We can talk about this in Muni in early Jan when we are both there.
Allen, You would be the first person that I would want to run the sleds, but we would have to vote on it of course. But, again as far as I know you have the most recent experience running sleds on a pro level. As far as the 40x40 building... I'm not sure how you would get that as checked baggage on a plane...
Sketr2, I also thank you for the information about the testing you did with your sled. It is always good to hear about testing when it comes to a new model like the Warrior... Your testing and the results that you post (along with many others makes this a great forum to share experiences.
Freddie, Sounds good... All efforts I'm sure would be welcome. I'm not sure if we are ready to put this down on writing, but I certainly understand where you are coming from. Again... Sounds Good!!!

Buster, it's called a 40' trailer stacked to the ceiling with parts  seriously though, i have a ton of clutch parts (some most have never seen) and i have a track dyno, wouldn't be hard to make it happen.
