I just bought one of these to protect my shiney new pole barn floor:

Other than the color, it appears identical to this one:

Where should the lift pads contact the snowmobile? If I extend the pads inward as far as the shaft's cotter pins allow, the pads would be lifting the sled by the plastic side panels. That scares me. Removing the cotter pins and extending the pads inward far enough for the pads to lift under the chassis seems to work, but flexes the dolly frame a bit. The dolly frame is adjusted as narrow as possible. Are these dollies designed to lift under the plastic side panels? Can the side panels handle it? I tried it on my wife's Arctic Cat as well as my '06 Vector GT. Both have the same issue.

These lifts worked great on trailing arm sleds. Once everyone switched to a-arms they really dont sell many of them. People lift on the plastic all the time and it bends the crap out of stuff. If you find a spot to lift on the sled where it wont bend the plastic then go for it. The lift one break. Eric

The pads should go right were your feet would be if you were riding with you feet in the toe holds. I think the problem is that with the added weight of the motor they don't work the same as they used to back in the day.

It does look like it would well, and take up less room when not in use. Do you have the optional larger wheels?
