Short in electrical?

I was winching a tree out for fire wood and has i hit the winch switch it made a funny noise,it would go on and off,then it all let go.It must of burnt a fuse or something,but i checked all fuses and they look good.What else could have happened here.Now when i put the key on i dont have power,no dash power,no starter.But it will run if use the pull cord and everything seems fine.
Is there a relay that would cause that??? Help me...lol

Check your battery connections. I have had them come loose and it didn't show up until I used the winch.

Thanks a lot Ganz! I checked just about every fuse ,solenoid,relays.But never checked the simple stuff.......the connections...Came home read your thread,after 2 mins the Grizz was roaring again.I owe you one....Thanks
