Looking to add some additional cooling capacity to my 06 Attak but that rear cooler for the Attak is pricey. Will the rear cooler from the 121" work?

Kevin

It should work the motors are the same, I dont see why it wouldn't. Yea it is pricey had to replace mine at 200miles, X2 on the tunnel protection if you have picks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think the 121" cooler is only smaller because there is not as much room.

It looks to be L shaped though so I think it might hang down in the middle of the tunnel extension.

it will hang down,
your probably looking at 2 1/2'' of the cooler hanging down,

If thats the case and it looks like the picks will hit it dont do it. With the stock suspension and the 1.325 picks and no extra tunnel protection it will hit, trust me cost me $325 for new exchanger and hours installing it. Put the correct one in and then add protection. I tried many different things until I found something that has worked perfect this year. PM me if you need an idea and I will send you pics. of what I did.

How much protection is dead over the cooler on you sled?

When you say dead over cooler,Do you mean over the entire cooler???
I added to the existing tunnel protectors. About 10" of old hyfax each side. I drilled holes through and then counter sunk the bolts. I also had my shock revalved and put a 7.1kg spring on. I have ridden so hard this year and evrything worked perfect, not even a scratch on the new heat exchanger, I'm not even sure if the hyfax's are even being touched my shock is so stiff and spring adjustment is almost on the last notch. Ride is a little stiff but I love it.
