Ive searched the forum and cant find anybody who has posted anything about the addition of a rear heat exchanger on a shorty, I have the viper rear exchanger and dont like the options on installing it, it will be pretty low and very suseptable to impact if somebody clips the back of the sled, if anybody has installed any rear exchangers on a shorty could you please give me some info, thanks, ive installed the expert which raised the sled about 4 inches and with the turbo i feel im going to need the extra cooling, Thanks. I used one out of a 2001 SXR. It fit perfect. However you have to have large ID tubing welded on to accomadate the 1 inch hose they use.

Just finished installing the viper rear exchanger on the rx1 shorty, Actually went pretty well after figuring out how to mount it, jason, the viper exchanger already has the 1 inch spigets and is available very cheap as an upgrade for vipers that ran to hot,i had to fabricate spacers (stacked washers would do) for the front side mounting becuase of the shape of the muffler cradle but other then that it went well and looks stock!

Marc, you know im too cheap to buy that digital camara, i spent all my money on that turbo that i DONT HAVE YET!, Jason i hope to post some pictures shortly
