Should I be afraid of the viper?

I have the 2015 STX/DX, 1800 miles and with no issues, none. The track 1.3x provides spectacular out of the shoot traction and smooth on/off trail.

Now we no how has all the money Mr sled.lol

Its my job to have them :) Cant pass up a good deal. I also work 24/7 .... stupid work-a-haulic . 1 is turbo crazy and the other is stockish and they are both night and day better then my Nytro.

I don't remember the exact weight, but my LTX SE clocks in at roughly 520LBS. If you do some Google searches, you will find a post where a guy suspended his viper from a crane scale. If you are a trail rider, weight doesn't really matter too much. Just a pain to throw around a trailer. In fact, I think the apex weight is one reason it rides like a Cadillac. Off trail and especially mountain ok, weight matters.

Depending on the shock package they ride a bit flat but there is no feeling of heavy like the apex or rx. the steering is light and you can throw the sled sideways in a turn and the skis stay down and you feel confident. They really got the cog and roll center right on these even though they seem to sit high.

As a matter of fact I believe (like I did when first on the sled) that most guys that are dealing with a push up front have to learn to drive in deep and over steer into the corner letting the track bring the back end around through the turn. I drive with body English and power through the turns. If I just let it run through with only steering input it will push but get it sideways and it carves like a dream. if you watch the video the skis are hardly ever on the ground and even when they are you can see the front float and that is with dual 8" carbides. In most turns I am full lock on the steering and the sled is going straight.
